Burn’s night 2008

Posted by: jamiebrammer In: Family and friends

Since it is pretty difficult to get haggis in Copenhagen (the local British shop said they’d be getting a delivery the day after Burn’s night) I decided we’d make our own this year.

Simple ingredients… various bits of sheep: liver, heart, lungs, stomach… we also used minced lamb, onions and oatmeal. And of course plenty of herbs. Follow how it turned out in these photos.

Thanks to all who came along for the great poetry on offer… Thomas perhaps gets the award for most original (see his blog for the Flarf he composed) and a special mention for Ricado’s effort courtesy of Arethra Franklin, Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox.

Hope to see you all next year. Jamie and Lene.
