So we’ve now moved on from Coffs Harbour, which quite honestly isn’t worth visiting. We moved on for 4 days at the much more welcoming Byron Bay – a good combination of hippie tree huggers, backpackers and yuppies. Great beaches – even Aksel took a swim. More snakes up in the Nightcap national park. Nice hinterland towns at Bangalow and Mullumbimby.
We’re now in Brisbane with Tim and Nicola – staying in their great apartment near the river in Brisbane’s yuppie land. Very smart.
Tomorrow we’re off to Kangaroo Island (and we’ll hopefully see some Kangaroos and Koalas).
And one more thing Aksel turned 6 months yesterday, he was asleep for the champagne and cake.
