The last year Mikael Vissing (NetDoctor’s ex-CEO) and I have been looking at ways of working together and Avaleo is the result.

Avaleo will take forward some ideas that we have for using technology to better support health and social care. Our focus will be on building a software-as-a-service product to support the more efficient management of ‘cases’ in the health and social sector. We’ll first be concentrating on a small niche in Denmark that needs a case management product to help train and rehabilitiate people with long-term conditions.

The last few months has seen me preparing to ‘shut down’ the technology department of NetDoctor and migrate all technology and technology-based proejcts to Avaleo. The NetDoctor organisations in Denmark, UK and Germany will be Avaleo’s first clients and will form the basis of our consulting business.
