So we’re finally home – Aksel had a really good trip again, better than us at least. He fell asleep yesterday and 3pm and woke at midnight so we’ve got a job to do there, fortunately we weren’t much different which is why I’m writing this at 5am.
We’ve taken lots of video and will hopefully [...]

So we’ve now moved on from Coffs Harbour, which quite honestly isn’t worth visiting. We moved on for 4 days at the much more welcoming Byron Bay – a good combination of hippie tree huggers, backpackers and yuppies. Great beaches – even Aksel took a swim. More snakes up in the Nightcap national park. Nice [...]

So we’ve been here a week now and this is the first internet for about 6 days. Life is good without it.
We’ve travelled up from Sydney towards Brisbane and are currently in Byron Bay – a famous hippy hangout and laid back beach town. Other places we visited were Myall Lakes and Coffs Harbour. Some [...]

a sign of troubled mind or a jet-lagged one. Fortunately we’re the latter – sat here now looking out the window taking in the Opera House view with Aksel sleeping on the bed. I can’t believe we’re waiting for him to wake up.
Trip was very good – shame we departed late from CPH – just [...]
Just got back from a great trip. Rented a car at CDG in Paris (got upgraded after some dodgy under the table cash with the lady on the desk). Stuck in traffic getting out of Paris then toured the countryside near Fontainbleu eventually arriving at a great B&B in the evening – Les Roches. Great [...]
Location: South Sweden. Purpose: Weekend away.
Result: Nice little town, rather dull in the middle of winter, but likely great in summer – we’ll come back some day.
Is home of Absolut vodka and was expecting place like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – is a bit like that but no visitors.
Hotel (Åhus Gästgifvaregård) very recommended for [...]
Went over with Dad to Paris for the weekend of England’s worst ever RWC performance. They were diabolical and dull. At least I can never be accused of being a fair weather fan.
Fortunately Paris was great – staying in 11th arrondisment – near Bastille – a road called Rue Keller – very up and coming [...]
Trip to Spain in early August 2007.
Flew down to Barcelona with long delays courtesy of Sterling (rapidly becoming my least favourite airline: 1. it is really not much cheaper than SAS 2. it is almost always delayed), although to be fair to them they chartered an Air Slovakia plane to take us down so they [...]
Some photos from our recent trip around the Adriatic and Balkans.

Lene and I took a weekend in Berlin. The photos show pretty much all the highlights but the only place we kind of missed out was the ‘blind restaurant’: you basically eat in the pitch dark and are served by people with visual impairments. Can’t say that the food was great but I’d recommend the [...]
