Just got back from a surprisingly warm weekend in Edinburgh. Well over 20 degrees Friday to Monday and sunny all the time – the city really does look good like that. Thanks to Mum, Dad and everyone else.

Many thanks to If and assorted helpers (Nick mainly I think, and Tom, and possibly Mark) for a great two weekends away back in the UK.
The first weekend was in Southampton for the stag night / weekend / humiliation (see the photos). Very drunk and late both nights, getting too old for this.

Brief trip over to the Edinburgh festival for the weekend. See the photos. Surely the best comedy festival in the world.
Back in the UK for a weekend and a wedding straight out of Four Weddings and a Funeral… picture postcard stuff and plenty of humour (thanks for providing that Mark, I trust you’re still in a job…).
Thanks to John and Sian for a great time. I hope you’re having a well earned honeymoon.
Lene and I flew in and out of Aberdeen to get to Edinburgh so we spent a night in the highlands – in a converted old church – you’ll see the photos.

Was great to be back in Scotland. Everything was just as I left it a few years ago – rain then sun then wind then rain again. Mountains covered in cloud one minute and bathed in sunshine the next.
